Ever taken or currently taking an anti-TNF agent such as Humira, Remicade, Enbrel, Cimzia or Simponi? A rare side effect of anti-TNF Therapy is the development of multiple sclerosis (MS)-like symptoms. These side effects may be the result of pre-existing genetic/environmental susceptibility in affected patients. The GEMS research study aims to identify what may increase the occurrence of these side effects. E-mail for more info about participation in our nationwide study

I was wondering if anyone actually knows the stats on AS being passed along to your children? My husband has AS & he wants us to have a child. I see the pain he is in everyday. I couldn't imagine my child suffering the same fate. Any help would be appreciated.

How many people can track AS back in their family tree, and from where? I have been looking. Found a letter from 1932 where it was called curve disease. It was a woman who had it who was already deformed evidently in her child bearing years.
