I have restarted Humira after 5 months of a break and I am 2 injections in so far. My hips and SI joints are still killing me and I am at the point of limping around everywhere and have no desire or capability to do anything physically demanding. My rheumy also gave me 9 caps of Celebrex to try and see if they work. Do you guys think I should stay patient and keep on with the Humira? Or start taking Celebrex as well to see if it works? Anything helps, thank you!

I am nervous about tomorrow! I go back to my rheumatologist and we will be talking about getting on Humira or Enbrel. Those were the 2 he mentioned but he sent me home with info about Cimzia and Simponi. I noticed with some of these TNF blockers you have to take methotrxate too. Is that part of the injection or an pill or what? Also, if you get put on a TNF blocker do you stop your pain meds (oxy, soma)? Thanks

I saw your profile question regards to humira i have ra and am on predizone and just got a script for humira pens have 2 unopened in the fridge and 3refills am not going to take it though with out insurance it cost 2699.00 efn crazy...if you want the 2 brand new humira pens new in the box will gladly send them....we can work out something resonable...let me know also i have been fighting for ssdi for 3.5 years 2nd hearing on 06/05/2013.good luck .hope you dont mind me contacting you..

Saw my Rheumatologist today and he wants me to think about doing a 3 month trial with Humira or Enbrel. Anyone out there have better relief with any of the TNF blockers? Is it worth it? How hard was it to qualify for assistance through these companies since I have no ins? Thanks!

Does anyone get a needle and pin sensation in their hands or ankles while on Humira? Can this be a serious side effect? I feel like my hands and ankles are almost in more pain on Humira, or maybe its just the process of the medication getting to work on my inflamed joints. Any thoughts?

Anyone notice more cracking and popping of joints while on a TNF blocker such as Humira? I have less tightness in my joints, but I tend to crack my neck from side to side, heels up and down and do lower back rotations. Is it a bad thing that my joints crack a bunch? Anyone have a similar experience?

I stopped my Humira injections about 5 months ago without my Rheumy's consent. My plan was to treat it myself through a strict diet (which did help up until recently I decided to indulge in certain trigger foods). About four weeks ago the pain came back with a vengeance and has left my SI joints in a world of pain. My options are to start Humira again before I see my Rheumy in June or stick it out with an auto-immune protocol to lessen the inflammation naturally. Any thoughts?
