Ever get tired of getting diagnosed with something vague? 3 new ones in 2 weeks to include idiopathic distal neuropathy (switching from enbrel to humira), food allergies & arthritis of the foot. Elimination diet, PT and med changes. Stressful!

I had a year like that.  It was tough but I am coming around the bend and it looks good on this side.  I had so many tests done I glow in the dark!  Hang in there and good luck!

Please dont give up on the medical professionals , knowing how frustrating this is for all of us and the pain and suffering we go through , i also try to look at it from my doctors point of veiw, this is their career they went into this position to help and cure people, imagine how frustrated they may feel as this is a fairly new thing with out a lot of research done they are there with us maybe not fulling knowing the amount of pain we are but i am sure they have a good idea. I have been blessed with a great doctor i think we sometimes forget that we are all on the same team!

~ Even though nothing is vague about my illnesses, I can't stand going to the doctors, the testing (Tons of it!), taking loads of medication (I feel like throwing up!), not having a normal life, feeling so much pain... I need to go back to therapy! You are not alone, my friend. Our condition is as stressful as can be... The only thing that sustains me is my faith in God.

I have been at doctor's offices so much over the past 2 and a half years   I get so used to pain that I don't go when I should. Had extreme shoulder pain last winter, finally had an MRI thus summer. I just assumed it was AS. I had a tear in a tendon in the shoulder. I can't help but wonder if the tear is because of the constant tendinitis I have had for 14 Years now.  Dealing with uveitis and scleritis since spring of 2008.  I am on weekly humira at this point to try to get it to simmer down.  I have lens damage and still not under control.  I have had lots of side effects from the humira. I don't feel improvement on it
