Anybody else got a massive collection of pillows? Different sizes, shapes, and stuffing inside? It's so hard to find one that makes my neck relax enough for sleep. Does this happen to you?

Yes I do have different pillows and stuffed animals. My favorite is RALPH my pillow pet dog that my granddaughter got me for my birthday several years ago. I rest my arm on him. The grandkids thinks their mamaw is so cool cause she sleeps with stuffed animals. In fact when I was sleeping downstairs when I had my hip relacement Ralph was my bed partner, my DH said he was jelous cause Ralph got to sleep with me and he didn't. LOL
Maternity pillows are a god send.www.amazon.com/Leachco-Back-Belly-Contoured-Pillow/dp/B0002E
I usually use a "bolster" (long) type pillow for my arm and leg to rest on when I lay on my side.,especially since I have had both hips replaced. A body pillow would be nice. I may have to invest in one..
Lol! Yes, I have tons and tons. I just had friends stay with me two weekends ago and they were laughing at me. In my tiny, one bedroom apartment I had 2 pillows for each of the 3 guests, not including the body pillow and 4 pillows on my bed!
I find that I need them, coz it just depends on what's hurting me the most at the time. I'm always creating weird positions and uses for the pillows. I even invested in the I <3 My Pillow memory foam pillow for $100. Sometimes it's awesome, others it's no different. For me, I just need variety - pain is constantly changing.

I have soooo many pillows that it could technically be called a collection. Enough said!
I have the same problem, I keep adding and taking away pillows, nothing seems to be the "right one" for me, no matter how comfortable or stable my neck is I will still wake up with a sore neck and hips.
I have 6 different pillows. 1-soft one for sleeping on my side. 1-specially shaped one for neck pain, 2- that's like a temperpedic bed, a body pillow, a special one from Brookstone to help you stay on your side and one that is just an everyday bed pillow.
Well, not massive, but I have one which is easily shapable - for my head. Then I've got a small one to rest my arm on on one side and another larger one to drape my other arm over, because I still get carpal tunnel symptoms (after two surgeries), particularly when I'm flaring. I've got it down to a system - it's all about getting the most comfortable sleep possible.
Pillows, pillows, pillows! Before I was diagnosed I started having such terrible problems laying on my side because my sternum would get stiff so quickly that if I moved an inch I'd cry out from the pain - solution was to learn to sleep on my back and the only way to do that was to prop up as many pillows as possible so that I wouldn't turn on my side.
I get the same problem!!!! I sometimes use a 'V' shaped pillow so when I'm on my side it supports my head but allows my shoulders to lie on the bed. It works some times!! Other times I find myself waking up! Good luck, and if you try the V shaped pillow let me know if it worked for you too.
Oh yes I have so many so I can put together the best combo for how my neck is. At the moment I haver a really good soft but firm base pillow and a thick but very soft feather combo. I have little movement in my neck and considerable pain so trying to get comfy is very important. I also have bought and thrown out many many pillows over the years....
I have several ones too as well as a neck pillow. Each night I wrestle trying to get comfortable. I always think, okay, the stack feels pretty good, but then I wake up with a sore head and neck! What to do!?
