Have for years. Simple breathing exercises, best thing. Breath as deep as possible, hold as long as possible and release. You can't really make it better at this point but you can keep it from becoming worse. Don't wait like I did?
Great advice...I too have become convinced that deep breathing is essential for the long term posture battle. I can actually pop my spine with my breath, it relieves the built up forward pushing posture, I and pretty much fused, but I do very pointed breathing twice a day and at opportune moments throughout. NOTHING is more important in my opinion than focused deep breathing daily or even more often if possible.
Gery, I took a look at your profile...looks like we have been battling about the same length of time and seem to be very similarly affected, ???I am 52, first noticed real trouble at 17 - diagnosed in 1984 at age 26???been a long road, but doing better now than I could have ever imagined for years and years...
Best of luck as you battle on.

Sorry, That was supposed to be in Answer to Denice's question. Wasn't paying attention and put it in as a question somehow. Jim thanks for your reply. Yeah we both got diagnosed about the same age. I had been experiencing problems for a while and was fortunate to find a doctor familiar with the disease after being seen by some of the top sports doctors including a Dallas Cowboys team doctor who missed it. by Gery DiMarco 3 years ago
