All of the time. I've had chronic allergies since I was a toddler, so I'm pretty sure that is the problem. I've just recently begun attributing it to a 30-year education career and talking so much over the years.
Well I don't lose it but it gets really froggy..lol and it seems like maybe my immune system is attacking my larnyx or when I have been on high doses of steroids for awhile.
For me it seems like I get it most if my allergies are up or if my immune system is down. I often have people tell me to "feel better" when I am just fine. Both of my parents and my grandmother get it as well, making me think it is also genetic.
Only when I've been out in the damp night air...nothing to attribute to AS or any other disease., in my case.
Yes I get a deep rough voice fairly often put mine down to my Kyphosis.I also get a lot of dry throats and coughing fits when having long discussions with people very annoying.
