Why just a journal for people who text? The arthritis in my hands makes it difficult for me to text. Why isn't available to use online?
Donna, thanks for the feedback. It is actually available online. After you send the first text you'll receive a username and password that can be used to enter symptoms from the website. So yes, you still need to send one text right now to register, but then can switch to using the website only if you want. We're also working on a way to record your symptoms using your voice. by Chris Bennett 2 years ago
Jeff, I can access it fine (from multiple PCs) using Chrome, Firefox and IE. Are you on a Mac? Figure it out since you last posted?
I'm using a Mac, but I did finally get it to load tonight. May have been my wireless connection. However, once it loaded I sent my a message to (727)697-7990 and I have not yet received a password notification back.
For some reason every 10 or so messages aren't getting sent back (though our records show we do receive them incoming). If you could email me your mobile number to info(AT)ankylosing.org I'll look up your password and email it back to you. Sorry about that.
I think I am still a bit lost....do you still have to text first?? I don't have texting if so. Is there any other way to set this up? Thanks.
Ohsnap! Now you can call in and record symptoms by voice!
How do you do it? After you've registered by sending a text (anything) to 727-697-7990, call that same number and speak your symptom just like leaving a voicemail. Then, when you sign back in to journal.ankylosing.org you'll be able to play that message back. Cool!

I'm loving the idea of this. Let's see if we can get our docs to sign up, and then check it too... Lol. Great job!!!
Who do I text? Have been looking for an easy pain journal that I could get myself to actually follow thru with. I've tried hand writting one and I never make it past the first week. I like the idea of being able to txt or go online, I always have my phone with me.
Signed in: Check ~ got new password: Check ~ made notes in password book: Check Thank Chris once again: Check!
Go to http://journal.ankylosing.org/ and there you'll see a phone # to text how you're feeling to. You'll get a message back on your phone with a password to sign into the website. There you will see the symptom you just texted, and any other messages you send to that same #. Just like jotting down symptoms in a notebook, sending a text records them for you online. Then, you can print that page and take it with you to the doctor on your next visit.
It's wonderful! If there's a way, could you add other 1-10 ratings? Like stiffness, or fatigue, or other symptoms that go with AS? Thank you SO MUCH!
