Fish oil, and loads of it. I take 6 to 10 tablets a day ... Also physio, yoga/pilates, and particularly hydrotherapy - exercising in a warm pool. Oh and saunas/spas...

I'm in agreement with fish oil and plenty of it.  That's all that's been recommended to me.

Again, being in water, in general, is a great help.

I take 1000 mg Magnesium which helps with my GI symptoms. And since I can't take calcium, it probably helps deter bone loss from the prednisone. I take 4000 mg pantothenic acid which help deter mouth sores from taking the NSAIDs. I wish I could still take ephedra because it helped with my AS symptoms and eased my chronic asthma (inflammation of the lung tissues.) Seeing a naturopath and Chinese healer has resulted in lots of good advice. Alternative medicine definitely has a place in my treatment.

Goldenseal look it up, I had great results for swelling, pain and also helping with infections. As any drug you can't take with certian drugs and only take it 3 weeks at a time 3 on 3 weeks off.
Also warm water any way you can get it helps!
