I'm taking my third shot tomorrow as well. I have had inflammation in my feet associated with AS,three days after my first shot the inflammation was greatly reduced and I became more active. I even started pilates! Today not so good. It hurts to walk and hurts to sit due to si joint. I've had 3 days over the last couple of weeks of stiffness,body aches and low grade fever. Its been awesome to have some good days in between. I was recently diagnosed and hope to get back to what my life was 3 years ago. The last couple of years have been a slow decline in my ability to function day to day. Although I seem to have gone into a flare up today , I remain hopeful.

I have been on Enbrel18 months recently had to go off it for two and half weeks for surgery beleive this is the second time I have went off it in the 18 months and I can tell a difference when I dont take it. My progress was a little slow but by the third month I could tell a huge difference in my day to day life. Does it control the pain No but the difference in my stiffness is huge especially the mornings and just my ability to get around is so much better. Hopefully you will start to notice a difference the change is slow but it worked for me non of the injections are miracles they are just a big help and with a good pain mangement I am so much better off than I was three years ago. I have only been on it since Jan 27 (3 shots), I have only noticed a very small improvement with stiffness.   I am still hopeful that I will get better results soon.   What I have been told is some people get great results after first shot, others it can take months.
I hope you are a one that experiences relief very quickly!
