Is there anyone on any type of TNF blocker for more than 5 years? How good has it been working for your body over time?

Been on Humira almost from the day it became available. Every 14 days was not adequate so switched to every 7 and that did a lot, but have switched to every 10 for the last few years. Unfortunately even though it made me feel much better with few flares to the point that a co-worker thought I had been cured, the disease has still progressed and mri's show new fusion. I am experiencing a flare that has just started. But 7 1/2 good years out of the last 9 isn't bad.

Going on 11 years with Remicade (Spring 2001) - been GREAT! It built up quickly and gave me unbeleivable relief.  I was able to drop every other drug after about 4 years on Remicade.  My last ten years have been WAY better than any 2 from my early 20's to my early 40's - I am almost 54 and have been dealing with AS since I was 17. I do not do any pre-meds and I feel great when I finish the infusion...
